I will be attending the Old Wye Mill Opening Day, Saturday, April 30, 2022. The Mill has been grinding our einkorn into flour and selling the flour to support their educational efforts. They will be operating the mill while explaining the fascinating history, which goes back to colonial times. I will be sharing information about einkorn, the ancient wheat we grow here on the Eastern Shore. Bring you family, they will have an opportunity to observe the potential energy stored in the mill pond converted to grind flour that you can take home to make bread. Give them an insight into the foundations of society and how economies work.
